I started using Ace of Sales program about a month ago. I loaded my contacts in (this was pretty easy to do) and I immediately sent out a few greetings and branded E-mails to see what would happen. I was simply amazed at the response! Every person that I "touched" with Ace of Sales was telling me they loved the e-mails and greetings. They told me they liked the quick links to my website, blog and Linkedin page as well as the graphic content.

I was encouraged to say the least, so I spend about an hour writing my first E-Zine and adding a few photos. I sent it out a few days later after adding a few more contacts to the database. My first E-zine went out to 168 people, my "open" rate was around 50% and I generated 3 new sales opportunities from it! Three new leads for a few hours work? I was hooked! It is almost too good to be true.

Since then I have added more and more contacts to my AOS databse and currently have over 500 prospective clients, existing clients, and other business contacts entered into my database. I have already written my next E-Zine and cannot wait to send it out

The biggest benefit for me has been the newfound enthusiasm I have about communicating with my customers and prospects. I actually look forward to sending e-mails, greetings, and E-Zines. AOS has fired me up!!

In my opinion, Ace of Sales is smart, easy to use, and most importantly - EFFECTIVE!. Well worth the investment.

My AoS success story is landing my biggest client.

About 6 months ago, I started using Ace of Sales for my weekly updates. Immediately on the switch, I have gotten comments about how much more professional and eye catching my updates look. One of my clients fwd my email to a friend of theirs that happened to be looking for a financial planner. Based in part on the recommendation of my client, and the awesome looking email greetings, they felt comfortable coming in and working with me.

All around, AoS helps me manage my sales pipeline by not letting potential clients fall through the cracks. Anyone I meet, goes into AoS, until they become a client or unsubscribe. (but no one has unsubscribed yet. =) )

I had been calling this prospect for 2 years with no success. Yes, I know Jeffery is cringing....cold calling! About 6 months ago I signed up for Ace of Sales. I found a new contact at this company and started a steady diet of postcards, personal emails, epostcards, informative ezine newsletters, and voicemails. I made sure I touched this guy someway possible every week atleast once. After about 4 months, he picked up the phone. He immediately started laughing " i apologze for not calling you. You have to be one of the most persistant, nice, informative sales reps to ever try for my business. I want you to call Jim Doe and tell him I told him to listen to you. If we are not doing business with eachother sometime on the next 3 months I will be very disappointed." This was 2 weeks ago.

My success story (I know, I know - I'm disqualified from winning the prize). My best success story with Ace of Sales has to be my follow ups to webinars. I send custom follow ups from time-to-time right after my webinars. It's like a tractor beam to draw in conversations from customers. I love it! I use it to fill up my next webinars too... and I can see exactly who engaged me with the Tracker. It's the webinar speaker's dream tool! - Andy Horner, Chief Architect, Ace of Sales

Brian, this is a great article. I never thought about social networking and ants, but it is a great analogy. I play on the Social Media playground quite a bit and find it to be a mission, of most groups, to help one another. It's a wonderful way to connect with like minded people and champions such as yourself.

Andy, it's overwhelming to start from nothing every week to a weekly Ezine. You're "One, Two Punch" is a great idea. I took on the tiger by generating a weekly Ezine. It's been over two months now and the law of inertia is definitely on my side. My normally see my customers face-to-face every three months. I'm starting to get comments about how well received by Ezine is. Instead of pushing product my Ezine informs. Yes, if appropriate I highlight my solutions, but that's done in a more soft-shoe manner. Two weeks ago I sent out a customized email greeting about the epidemic of bed bug infestations. I provided a solution to the problem and planned on following up later with each customer. A few hours after I sent the customized email greeting I received this email from a customer:

"Bill, I just want you to know that I love your weekly newsletter. It contains a lot of good information, and your humor section always makes me laugh. By the way, please call me about your bed bug control product. We just had a problem in a resident's room. Thanks, Carmen."

When I called my customer back she placed the largest single order I've ever had for that product. I didn't get the order because of the product. I got the order because I built value into the relationship, and my weekly Ezine was the relationship building tool.

Good stuff Lisa. As you point out, the key is to get people thinking about you and your company. I often find that customers get to my virtual doorstep through the back alleys. In other words, they clicked through because of what I sent, but they actually need something completely different. They acted because they saw something I wrote or published.

I am very excited about these new features. However, time management will be an issue with me as I would prefer to sit and design and play instead of getting out and networking. Just kidding of course. It will help us stand out from the crowd. No more cookie cutter designs.

Customers have been asking me to improve the Custom Design tool. Now you can edit to your hearts content with low res images and here's the best part: when you upload your images...they fit.

We're going to announce this in the upcoming Four Aces Ezine from Ace of Sales. It's gonna be a blast to see what you guys do with this thing!
